Day 13 – Boothman

If all the superheroes in the world need a means of hiding their identity while saving the world in a jiffy, what would that be? I am having one of those crazy thoughts today, my mind flitting on this and settling on that. I am at my window looking onto the yard and remember my home’s history as told by my neighbour who has lived here for more than 40 years. My home was called "Batman and Robin’s" house, a local production of the superhero mad caper used to be shot in it. At one point, there was Superman too and he used to zip out to the telephone booth just meters away from my property. The booth although modernised is still intact.

It would be so cool if the Booth was a superhero too .. flying off in a whirlwind to accomodate a superhero in need. A superhero for a superhero. 60 minutes later, I smile at Boothman. The year is 2080 and the earth is an eclectic mix of neuron activated transportation discs and all things retro [yes, retro will always be around!]. Superheroes have been growing in numbers and their identity protection is of the utmost importance to our survival. Bootman and his horde of red telephone booths provide the superheroes with a haven and protect their identities in time of need, a tribute to the original loved and defunct superhero of all!
