Day 5 – Bunga

Today out of the blue, I am thinking of the boomerang I used to have and how it got lost when I moved from Singapore to Australia a few years ago. I get onto a Wiki and start reading about boomerangs {yes, I am weird sometimes, I know}. I read about certain types of Australian boomerangs being used for hunting and I have an A-HA moment. A baby boomerang who has been sharpening his fins to better his flight time is an awesome vector subject. Especially if he comes with war-paint and an enthusiastic war-cry COWAAA-BUNGAAAA!

This little guy is my favorite so far and I am learning so many new things in Illustrator everytime I create one of these vector characters! Awesome!

Time Taken : 45 minutes

Softwares : Illustrator CS 4 & Photoshop CS 4

    Looks fun. :) I think the ears were a little hard to realize what they were at first, would almost be cuter without them. Great job.
