Project 365 Vector Characters – Kommenti For Day 21

Day 21 – Kommenti
"Ciao, io sono Kommenti!". I use Google’s translate service to translate "Hello, I’m Kommenti!" from English to Italian. That is my character for today. I like him very much, maybe because I have a fondness for everything Italian, but more because he came to me in a flash and he is so unique. He is a comment bubble, an Italian chef who lives in Thinkatania where there are no people and no creatures, only thoughts! But he is one of the few rare "Commentors", unlike his "Thinker" friend Marko. He is also shaped like the fabulous flying pizza dough he is so famous for!
Time Taken : 20 minutes
Softwares : Illustrator CS 4 & Photoshop CS 4
Font for Kommenti : Rousseay Script
In 2010, I have challenged myself to create 365 vector characters, one for each day of the year. Please Subscribe To My Feed to follow the series or Bookmark My Flickr Page to stay updated on the newest characters everyday.

Hi Sneh. Lovely illustration. You have mentioned that you used Photoshop as well. What exactly did you use that for? (in this one) Can you please tell me?
Thanks

Hey Richie! Thanks! I use Photoshop only for the presentation graphic [the one that you see with the story writeup]. I do everything in Illustrator, even the textures!
