Day 3 – Krood
I am in one of those moods today. I have been going through the Save The Children Newsletter and wondering what is wrong with the world. Oil, I tell you. I have a 20 minute window for my daily vector character project and I create "Krood". He is a drop, a very black drop. But he is trapped and he is torn and pulled in every which way. All he wants to do is don a green feather and do some good, Robinhood style.
I tried a different approach with the eyes, making them look scared and apprehensive. I have kept the character simple today but there is a depth of hidden meaning in the little guy.
Time Taken : 42 minutes
Softwares : Illustrator CS 4 & Photoshop CS 4
Font for Krood : Belizio
In 2010, I have challenged myself to create 365 vector characters, one for each day of the year. Please Subscribe To My Feed to follow the series or Bookmark My Flickr Page to stay updated on the newest characters everyday.

hmmm! interesting!
yeup! it’s a nice project that you are working on!
I predict you are going to *loathe* this project at some point… but keep after it! I’m writing on a small book project every morning for an hour myself. Sometimes, I don’t get a lot done. Sometimes, only 10 minutes of good writing. But that’s 10 minutes more than I would have done.
