Day 65 – Kwerp

It is amazing how and when inspiration strikes. As a rule I never drink sodas or soft drinks much, maybe 2-4 cans a year. But I do feel like especially if the day is very warm, like today. When that happens, I head to the garage [where all our cans are stored], grab a cool can and hold it in my hand, contemplating whether I really need to drink it. A minute later, a cup of hot coffee wins the mental battle. And so the can goes back in storage till the next time. Weird huh? In my defence, I do have coffee running through my veins and it would kill me to drink anything else.

This can exercise happened today as I had fired up Illustrator and sat staring at the blank screen, totally devoid of any inspiration. "And I’ve opened this can of worms all over again today!" I thought to myself as I tried to remember why I had started Project 365 in the first place. "Can Of Worms" and the Solo can in my hand sparked an idea. I started doodling in Illustrator and 50 minutes later, Kwerp was ready to unleash his can of worms.

Kwerp is a good ol’ can of worms. Problem is, he is always letting them loose! But isn’t that what a can of worms is supposed to do? Not according to him, because he tries very hard to contain them as they try to escape out of the little holes punched in his side.
