Day 82 – Mono
Mono lives in a black and white world. The only bit of color in her world is the pink in her cheeks, but she can’t see it because the rivers and glasses and mirrors don’t reflect her color. There is untapped magic in her smile and the warmth of her face, magic that could bring color to the land of Monona.
I like Mono. I like how frail she is and how well the lack of colors works with the thin lines of her frame. I struck inspiration with her today and I can imagine the beautiful black and white world of Monona with an almost decoupage, paper piecing quality to the characters. I can’t wait to create more characters in this series.
Time Taken : 55 minutes
Softwares : Illustrator CS 4 & Photoshop CS 4
Font for Mono: Kristen Script
