  Day 006 - Project 365 Vector Characters

Day 6 – Mumusuki

I am craving sushi today. I make a base sushi character in 10 minutes. Then I spend almost 4-5 hours on and off being thoroughly dissatisfied with what I do to it. After wasting a whole day, I finally like what I see. And so Mumusuki is born! She is a swell sushi chef with a penchant for pop art. Her signature style is wielding dangerously thin sashimi with her pink, polka dot chopsticks.

If Mumusuki had arrived early, I could’ve gone out for some unagi maybe. Ah well, there is always tomorrow!

Time Taken : 4 hours

Softwares : Illustrator CS 4 & Photoshop CS 4

Font for Mumusuki : Jamiro

In 2010, I have challenged myself to create 365 vector characters, one for each day of the year. Please Subscribe To My Feed to follow the series or Bookmark My Flickr Page to stay updated on the newest characters everyday.

Thanks guys! he he, yes, one of those days I guess :) . But I made enough variations to garner a sushi army for a spinoff series, so can’t complain :)
