Day 54 – Papo
I initially start making a magnifying glass character and even finish making one but no matter what I do, I can’t think of a decent storyline for it. So I scrap the idea and start afresh. Using the magnifying glass I made, I end up with Papo. I realize how crazy and totally out there my storyline sounds, but hey, not everyday has to be perfect right?
Papo is a very paranoid cheese puff. When he was little his mean old friend Brita told him that he was weak and would go “pop” if he wasn’t careful. So Papo devised a metal stand with magnifying glass ends that would carry him everywhere and help him pick the smoothest surfaces to land on.
Time Taken : 30 minutes
Softwares : Illustrator CS 4 & Photoshop CS 4
Font for Papo : Witched
In 2010, I have challenged myself to create 365 vector characters, one for each day of the year. Please Subscribe To My Feed to follow the series or Bookmark My Flickr Page to stay updated on the newest characters everyday.
