28 Free Quirky Character Wallpapers For your iPhone

Time is flying and the vector characters keep growing in their strength and numbers. It is time for some roundups and today I am rounding up 28 characters that were designed and developed in the month of February 2010 as part of my ongoing Project 365 Vector Character series. As usual I am offering them as iPhone wallpapers. I thoroughly enjoyed the month of February and was only hit by lack of inspiration once or twice. A lot of the characters are additions to existing storylines from January 2010.

Note : All wallpapers are free and are meant to be used only as wallpapers. Please DO NOT use my characters to make and sell products [merchandise] on websites or in the real world. Sale or derivative works of my characters is absolutely forbidden and all copyrights rest with me.

So I survived the first month of the Daily Vector Characters and I have a very strong feeling that I might just make it through the year. This post is a little roundup of the first 31 characters I made in 2010. It is also a freebie post. I wanted to thank you guys for putting up with my daily vector characters on the blog, sharing the love, commenting and vouching for me every single day. It means a lot and to say thank you, I have 31 iPhone wallpapers for you to download. I have learnt a lot in this one month of doing these characters in Illustrator. This exercise is not only helping me learn new Illustrator techniques, but it is giving my mind, my imagination a great workout and the more I do it, the more I love it. In the course of this year, I am going to share all the little tips and techniques I learn through this project on the blog. Right now, I am also working on several tutorials on how to make some of these characters. But till then, enjoy these wallpapers and I’ll be back tonight with yet another fun character. Oh and out of this list of 31, Shinobi Aru still rocks my world the most [the tape ninja]! What about you?

This week’s iPhone Wallpapers have a new love and its not Megan Fox, I assure you, although many might disagree with me. For all you Megan lovers, there are 2 gritty, raw shots of the light-eyed goddess. My new love is Archer, the official font of LBOI and now features in the Typoholics Anonymous Series along with Milk Script, a font I find extremely cute and retro. The other wallpapers finish off my Yokibinks series as well, this time featuring Yashi and Oui. Enjoy!

This week’s iPhone wallpapers see the beginning of a new minimalistic typography series called Typoholics Anonymous. Each wallpaper under the series features one typeface. I have started off with a few of my favorites like Rockwell, Museo, Helvetica, Futura, Mrs. Eaves and Belizio.
