2 Fun And Free Vector Scenes For Your Design Projects

Everyday when I create new vector graphics, whether they are characters or just simple elements for a poster or website, I always find that there is a real scarcity of vector "scenes". You know the free stuff like brushes and icons that you can download and put together to present your design? I rarely come across plain, no-frills vector scenes that I can use as a blank canvas for my design.

Now, it has been a while since I offered up a freebie on the blog. I have offered Vector Scenes/Background in the past and decided to offer some more. Today, I have for you two vector scenes. They are called "Real Estate" and "Midnight Wish". They are in AI format, bundled up in a zip file. Each and every element can be taken apart and used separately or combined together in a scene. These vector graphics are absolutely FREE for all your personal and commercial projects. So have fun everyone!

Note: It took me an hour to make them in Adobe Illustrator CS4, in case anyone was wondering.

No, I am not high on eggnog yet, but I’ve been feeling the annual Christmas spirit slowly creeping into my soul and I have been doodling. For those of you who don’t know me very well, I do believe in Santa [ I swear I do!] and I love the spirit of Christmas. Not the presents and commercial stuff paraded in your face everywhere you turn, but the true spirit. More about that some other day.

Today I have a family of 9 whimsy Christmas trees for you to download. They are crooked and knobbly and absolutely cuckoo and I love them! This gorgeous set of vectors comes in .EPS format [created in Adobe Illustrator CS4 and downsaved to CS2] and is FREE FOR PERSONAL AND COMMERCIAL USE. I am using them for my Christmas cards this year and the blue one is my favorite! Which one is yours?

For the past few days I have been simultaneously working on a project and a tutorial and during the process, I have been required to make a disco ball in Illustrator [Have I mentioned lately how much I enjoy my work!]. So today I am offering all you lovely people a different version of the disco ball that I designed. Premium Vector Freebie – A Character Named Sola

I have been putting up vector freebies for a while on the blog, but I am very excited to be offering this one today. "Sola" is a gypsy sun and she has a touch of art deco running through her rays. I have been studying gradient mesh in Illustrator and having fun with it. This character design was the result of 7-8 hours of trying out new things in the I-love-it-more-everyday Illustrator. Day And Night Scenes – Fun Free Vectors

Its free vector time again on the LBOI Blog. I have been working on some tutorials and projects recently that involved basic techniques in Illustrator. Playing in Illustrator is getting quite addictive for me, frustrating at times but fun and addictive nevertheless. When I do end up creating something viable that looks like fun, I think "Aha! My visitors would definitely love having this in their stock stash!". So today I have two scenes, day and night for you to download and claim as your own. These are simple scenes, nothing fancy but could save you some work. Use them as you wish, in blog posts, in artwork, for clients, for personal projects without restrictions. Impress your siblings and friends by saying you made them, really, there are no restrictions EXCEPT …. don’t sell them. People have a very bad habit of selling everything they can lay their hands on that is free. Keep it free and spread the love!
