This is really insightful Sneh. Maybe, the community news section needs some automatic moderation technique to filter out quality content and you are absolutely right about the fonts .. lol

A lot of these issues drive the beauty out of ‘being creative’ and adds a lot of banality.

Very nice read Sneh. You are right on target with this article.

I know exactly what you mean. It kind of made me laugh really, to think about how many hundreds of accounts I have in places that I never even go to at all. One thing that does annoy me is that in some of these places, they make it really complicated to delete your account. Some places, like Deviant Art (I don’t know if it is still the same now) don’t even let you delete your old account.

Evaluate and simplify. I’ve been doing that for a while now and it really helps when you have less resources but of higher quality. Like you said, if you have 15,000 fonts, something must be wrong. It’s the mentality that we have of “I WANT.” We need to stop thinking about “I WANT” and start thinking more about what “I NEED.”
