Have you seen the Michael Jackson Farewell Tribute logo? If you don’t watch much television, then maybe you haven’t. It is beautiful and very well executed. On that note, let me begin a round-up of logo design and branding news across the globe for the month of August 2009. These little bits of information and inspiration are ones that caught my eye through rss feed readers, twitter, blogs and websites. There is a good mix of fantastic interview links, visual logo candy, discussions, rants, applause and resources galore. Moving Brands is a firm that decided to respond to this request a bit unusually. They launched a website, making their process not only open to everybody but well informed by public discussion and opinion.
