This week as I sauntered along the path of self-taught designery, I decided to explore some more the wonderful world of Compositions. I have been practicing the art of Composition in design for a few years now, initially starting out on digital piecing of artwork for the celebrity website that relaunches this year. My most recent Composition artwork can be seen on my Twitter Background. Composition basically means planning of a design and arranging it in form or color, a visual piecing together of elemental objects on a background in either two or three dimension for a pleasing, harmonious effect. The beauty of Compositions is that because each designer’s way of thinking is so different from the other and their creativity so unique, it imparts a one of a kind flavor to the final artwork. Compositions can involve any number of design aspects, ranging from typography and simple photographs to complex 3D renderings, lineart, hand-drawn art, de-coupage, vectors and so much more working in tandem or solo. I have put together 44 random but each equally stunning as the other, composition wallpapers for your viewing pleasure.
