61 Quirky And Absolutely Cuckoo Character Logo Inspirations

Lately I have been obsessing about character development a lot. Part of the reason is the Project 365 Vector Characters that I have undertaken. Part of the reason is my deep seated need to always give life to the whimsy, quirky, fantastically random and imaginary characters that reside inside my head. Character development is a fascinating process, whether it is for a class art project, a snazzy new X-Box game, a tv commercial or a mascot/logo for a product. There is a lot that goes into character development. When characters are either used as mascots or simple marks in logo, they are either a graphic that compliments the logo’s name or they have an integrated thought process behind them, a storyline, a motive for their existence. I always like to create a personality for the characters I develop, even ones that are for logos. I like to give them a name, some characteristics, some quirks, some special facts and a loose but prospective storyline. My characters are always buildable. So taking all that character madness to heed, I started browsing for some cool character logos. I came across an amazing collection. Here I have rounded up 61 of my favorite, very fresh, very inspiring, very creative and absolutely cuckoo character logos for your inspiration. Enjoy!
My favorite ones were Monster Wear and Beast Media. All these character logos make me wonder about what was going through the minds of the designers when they were creating these characters. I wonder how many characters have a story to tell?
